Tour Itinerary

Welcome to Tokyo. On arrival at the Narita International Airport you will be greeted by a Thomas Cook Tour Manager/local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport, who will assist you to transfer to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight enjoy a delicious meal (international buffet) in the comfort of your hotel.

Today after a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day guided city tour of Tokyo. Start your tour with a visit to Sky Tree first observatory (need to que for entrance). A unique opportunity to view the city of Tokyo from a height of 350mts from the observation deck of Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world. Later visit the Asa Kusa District known for its renowned Sensoji temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple which was constructed in the 7th century. You also have some free time at the famous Nakamise Shopping Arcade where you get a chance to try local snacks and buy Japanese souvenirs. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later drive pass the Imperial Palace and enjoy some free time for shpping at Ginza. Tonight Enjoy Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hotel East 21 or similar in Tokyo

After Breakfast, check out and proceed to Kamakura the resort town with dozens of Buddhist Zen Temple. Visit the most recognizable landmark of the town - Kotoku-in Temple - the oldest Zen Monastery, with a 13 meter high statue of Great Buddha, still standing after 15th Century tsunami. Enjoy lunch at local Indian restaurant. Later proceed to the 1st Harbour city of the country - Yokohama to visit the largest Chinatown in Japan and Asia with large number of Chinese stores set in the colourful and narrow streets. Walk to the Yamashita Park and gaze over the Yokohama Harbour, enjoy looking at the various famous statues and soak yourself in the local atmosphere whilst strolling through the park. Later experience World Famous Zebra Crossing at Shibuya where roughly on an average 2000 people cross every time the light changes and Hachiko Statue which is a symbol for loyalty in Japan. Tonight Enjoy Dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Today after an Breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to one of the highlights of your tour - a visit to Mt. Fuji. Visit the Mount Fuji 5th station (Weather permitting). Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and often considered the symbol of the country. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later visit Owakudani Boiling valley, an active sulphur vent. Later we drive pass lake Ashi, a crater lake that lies along the southwest wall of Mount Hakone, a complex volcano at Owakudani. Later drive to Nagoya. Tonight, enjoy Indian Dinner.

Folk Museum that include explanations about the local river ecosystems, local handicrafts, and town history. Enjoy local lunch, thereafter proceed to Shirakawa - Shirakawa Go Village which is declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional Gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Enjoy Indian dinner and check in.

Today after an Breakfast, proceed to experience The Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route a unique and spectacular route through the Northern Japanese Alps, which is traversed by various means of transportation including cable car, Highland Local Bus, trolley buses, Tunnel trolley bus and a ropeway. In spring, accumulated snow, form a majestic snow corridor, whose snow walls reach up to 20 meters high, literally 'carved through' the snow. Blue skies can be seen above the bus and white snow-capped peaks are visible between the walls of snow. Dinner at Indian restaurant.

Today after breakfast, drive to Nara - the first capital of Japan. On arrival enjoy Indian Lunch. Visit Todai-ji temple, which houses the largest Buddha statue in Japan and the Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming Deer's. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the Gods, Nara's nearly 1200 deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure. Later we proceed for ninja show. Show based on Japanese art martial art form 'Ninjutsu'. Later enjoy Dinner at Indian Restaurant.

Today after breakfast checkout and drive to Kyoto. Upon arriving in Kyoto the cultural capital of Japan, visit Fushimi Inari shrine dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice - Nestled in the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. Later we experience Japnese tea ceremony. Proceed for lunch at Indian restaurant. Post lunch we visit Kinkakuji is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf, the temple was the retirement villa of the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. Kinkakuji is an impressive structure built overlooking a large pond, and is the only building left of Yoshimitsu's former retirement complex. Next travel by the hi-tech Japanese Bullet Train to reach Okayama. Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. Later we check in to our hotel.

This morning after Breakfast, drive to Hiroshima. On arrival begin with city tour of Hiroshima. Visit the A- Bomb Dome, the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion. See the Peace Memorial Park with its Museum and number of monuments including the Flame of Peace, Flocks of Doves and the Children's Memorial. The Cenotaph with its arched tomb is a tribute to those who died because of the bomb. Enjoy lunch at local Indian Restaurant. After lunch proceed to one of the top 3 great gardens of Japan and the Crown Jewel of Okayama - Korakuen Garden. Stroll through the garden - arranged to take in water from the river, which then runs via a zigzag brook into a pond and down in a waterfall. The extensive lawn and vast pond create an atmosphere that is as uplifting and relaxing as the regions mild climate. Enjoy dinner at Indian Restaurant.

After breakfast, checkout and drive to Kobe. Upon arrival in Kobe we visit the the harbourland, opened on the site of the former Japan National Railways Minatogawa Cargo Station, a cultural hub that links the city and the sea. Kobe Harborland features an array of large-scale commercial sites, from department stores, superstores, and speciality shops. Today we enjoy Indian lunch. Later we visit Osaka, Umeda Sky walk. 173- meter-tall building consists of two towers that are connected with each other by the Floating Garden Observatory on the 39th floor whose roof features a doughnut shape that provides an unobstructed 360- degree view Osaka city. Later shop to your heart's content at Osaka. Enjoy Dinner at local Indian restaurant.
