Tour Itinerary

Your getaway to South America starts in Sao Paulo. On arrival, your Thomas Cook tour manager / local representative will be waiting outside the baggage hall to welcome you. Later proceed to your hotel on your own and check-in. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Today, proceed to the airport for your flight to Manaus. On arrival, you will be met by a local representative who will drive you to the hotel for check-in. Later proceed for a guided city tour. Visit the Municipal Market to observe the day-to-day life of the locals. Next we drive around the Palácio Rio Negro and finally visit the Teatro Amazonas (Opera House), the symbol of the rich period of rubber time.

Today, get ready for an adventure on a riverboat tour the ‘Meeting of the Waters’. The incredible place where two distinct bodies of water meet, but don’t mix. Temperature, density and velocity differences keep these two bodies of water separate for more than 6 miles before at last they join to form the great Amazon.

Today, proceed to airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro, one of Brazil’s most important cities. Today, we start our day by taking a cog-wheel train up to the Corcovado Mountain to visit the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of Rio, drive through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana Stadium, the Sambodrome and Metropolitan Cathedral. Later in afternoon we visit the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a unique experience in the cable car while going up to the mountain. We also visit the famous Copacabana Beach and the downtown area.
In the evening you can opt for famous Samba Show at the Plataforma. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

Today, we drive to airport to board your flight to Iguassu. Iguassu is famous for its stunning falls, a total of 275 waterfalls make up the Iguassu Falls, which are the widest and most imposing waterfalls on earth. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Today, we visit the Argentinean side of the Iguassu Falls. We start with a short train ride that leads us to the trails. Later a walk along the catwalks, some 1200 meters over the islands, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight: the Devil’s Throat Fall.

Today, we take a trip to the Brazilian side of the falls. We walk along a narrow 1,500m. path and along with the catwalk that goes very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views over the Brazilian side of the falls. Later, we take a flight to Lima - the capital of Peru.

Today, we take you on a guided tour of Lima. See, the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Huaca Pucllana- ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Visit the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. Also visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Today, we take a flight to Cusco. On arrival, proceed on a guided city tour. Visit the famous Temple of Sun Korikancha - the most important temple in the Inca Empire. See the archaeological sites that date from Inca and the famous cathedral of Cusco. Later you have some free time at the Main Square.

Today, proceed to visit one of the wonders of the world - Machu Picchu. You will start by a train going through the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to the fabulous mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. This city is an eye-tantalizing tribute to man in harmony with nature. Enjoy the full day in this magical place and later take a train back to Cusco.

Today, enjoy guided city tour of this beautiful city. See the symbol of the city: the obelisk on avenida 9 de Julio, visit Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín. Drive through historical and elegant neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat, Palermo and Recoleta. We will also see financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium. Later, evening is at leisure for shopping on your own.

Explore the remote wilderness of Patagonia’s southern tip. Today, we set off to Perito Moreno, one of Patagonia's most imposing and most visited glaciers, located in the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park. Admire the gigantic ice formation from different perspectives during the brisk hike along the surrounding catwalks. Later we take a boat ride between floating ice and marvel at the mighty ice walls and absolute beauty and grandeur of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Rest of the day is free for leisure or shopping.
