Day: 3, Name: Baku, Description: After breakfast, proceed for a Baku City Tour (3–4 hours). Visit the historic Inner City (Icheri Shahar), a UNESCO
World Heritage Site, and explore the exterior of Shirvanshah’s Palace, described by UNESCO as “one of the pearls
of Azerbaijan architecture,” dating back to the 15th century. See the iconic Maiden Tower (Giz Galasi) from outside, another UNESCO-listed landmark. Continue to the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum to learn about Azerbaijan’s
rich carpet-weaving traditions. Enjoy a scenic ride on the Baku Funicular to Daghustu Park, offering panoramic
views of the Bay of Baku. The tour also includes entrance to the Heydar Aliyev Center, renowned for its futuristic
architecture.
After the city tour, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Gobustan Tour, Rock Art Cultural Landscape - Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape covers three areas of a
plateau of rocky boulders rising out of the semi-desert of central Azerbaijan, with an outstanding collection of
more than 6,000 rock engravings bearing testimony to 40,000 years of rock art. The site also features the
remains of inhabited caves, settlements and burials, all reflecting an intensive human use by the inhabitants of
the area during the wet period that followed the last Ice Age, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Middle Ages. The
site, which covers an area of 537 ha, is part of the larger protected Gobustan Reservation. It has outstanding
universal value for the qua-lity and density of its rock art engravings, for the substantial evidence the collection
of rock art images presents for hunting, fauna, flora and lifestyles in pre-historic times and for the cultural
continuity between prehistoric and mediaeval times that the site reflects.
Absheron Tour
The temple of fire worshippers Ateshgah, located on the Absheron peninsula on the outskirts of Surakhani
village, 30 km from the center of Baku, was revered in different times by Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs. The
current constructions of the temple date back to the XVII century. As a result of excavations, far more ancient
artefacts were discovered here. The pentagonal complex has an open courtyard with temple-altar in the centre
which was the place of pilgrimage for worshippers. By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ateshgah was
declared a State historical-architectural reserve.
This open-air museum has been recently restored. Different workshops and souvenir galleries are located here
now. 30 km from Baku.

- The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, aero plane, bus, ship or other services.
- Due to private coaches being forbidden inside the city’s most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses and by foot. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.
- We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
- Prices are based on 4 star non-central hotels. We do not guarantee air-conditioned hotels.
- The Passport must be valid for 6 month from the date of return.
- As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.

- For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
- A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
